Student Members Program Committee (Opleidingscommissie)
The opleidingscommissie meets 7 times a year (2/3 hours each time). The committee is charged with monitoring and improving the quality of education. In addition, the committee has legal rights to issue advice and vote on certain subjects, including parts of the Education and Examination Regulations (OER). Moreover, the committee advises the board and the study programme director of the relevant study programme. The opleidingscommissie consists of both staff and students. All programs within the faculty are represented in the committee by one or more students.
As of the 1st of December, the student body of the opleidingscommissie will be replaced. We are therefore looking for new student members for the following courses:

- Master of Law - Public International Law
- Master of Law - Financial Law
- Master of Law – Labour Law
- Master Notarial Law
- Master Fiscal Law
- Master Juvenile Law
- Master Law and Society
- Master Crime and Law Enforcement: Criminology and Security Policy
- Master Crime and Law Enforcement: Criminology and Criminal Justice
- Master Criminology – Forensic Criminology
For this position it is important that you are interested in the education given at Leiden University and that you have contact with many students. You represent them in this committee. Your communication skills are therefore also very important.
In addition to this, you meet 3 to 4 times a year with your own study program committee, where (among other things) the education evaluations and the study program annual report are discussed. Your efforts as a student member of the committee are rewarded based on a fee in board months. The appointment is from the 1st of November 2022 for a period of one year.
