Vacancy: Student-assistants for coding a replication database
Are you considering quantitative research as your future job? Or are you interested in the issues surrounding scientific research? Join a team of research assistants to code a database of replication scientific articles, datasets and statistical code. The database is part of an educational grant to improve quantitative research methods instruction at the university.
What will the job entail
- Search for articles with replication datasets and code them based on the type of analyses the study uses.
- Learn to build a database and optimize the search parameters
- Communicate regularly with a team of computer scientists.
Requirements
To be eligible for this position, the following requirements are in place:
- Applicants must have passed intermediate or advanced courses in statistics, or quantitative research methods OR have a Bachelor degree in statistics, quantitative social science, data science, or similar.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, or similar.
We offer
Salary scales range between €14,59 and €15,86 per hour gross. We offer a position for the first semester of academic year 2023-2024 and flexibility of working hours with minimum of 8 hours per week and a maximum of 20 hours per week.
