From September onwards written exams will be organized at De Broodfabriek in Rijswijk for Leiden University students following courses in The Hague. This test location is easily accessible by bicycle, by tram line 17 (departs 5 times per hour) or by train (make sure you take the right exit at the train station).

De Broodfabriek offers the possibility to organise the exams where you take the exam on your own laptop that you also use for education (Bring Your Own Device). There are no special requirements for your laptop, see the checklist. We will of course find a solution for special situations. If you expect problems at this stage, please email the OSC.

Pilots were conducted at various locations last year and most of them went well. Students like working on their own laptops. You have to use a Safe Exam Browser (no proctoring) so that you cannot visit other websites during the exam. The lecturer will provide more info about the exam and possibly organise a test moment in a workgroup or lecture.

For the students and teachers, the most important advantage of testing this way, is that the lecturer can immediately start reviewing the exams.
