On Monday 15 May, at 16.00, a new exhibition will officially be opened in the Art Gallery of the Kamerlingh Onnes building (C corridor). The exhibition will feature photographs by colleague Carin Riel (student affairs officer at the Education Information Centre). About 26 years ago, she started photographing at the Vrije Academie while she was also working at the faculty. Now that she is about to retire, she would love to be able to demonstrate what has kept her busy all these years. All staff and students of the faculty are welcome to come and admire her work over refreshments.

In addition, all photos from this exhibition are for sale. The proceeds will go to the 'Manegekanjers met Pensioen' Foundation, a great initiative for retired riding school horses who are allowed to spend their old age in a equine retirement home.

The faculty art committee hopes to welcome many of Carin's colleagues to this festive opening. The exhibition will be on display until about August.
