New Study Association LPILS

6 February 2023

Late 2022, a new study association (LPILS) was officially recognised after being active at Leiden Law School for some time. Students and alumni from the Master's in Public International Law organise activities, lectures, and social events for students of the PIL master's programme and other students who may be interested. They introduce themselves below:

Leiden Public International Law Society (LPILS) is a permanent and independent platform for the advancement and discussion of public international law, currently open to students and alumni of the LL.M. programme 'Public International Law'. The work of LPILS is structured around the two pillars of its membership, namely Alumni and Students. By working with both perspectives jointly in mind, LPILS seeks to ensure an integrated approach to the promotion of synergies between these groups. In doing so, LPILS hopes to cultivate an active network that both collates and  generates organic academic and professional opportunities.
