SGOA Hans Franken Award 2023 for master’s thesis ICT Law

In 2023, the SGOA will present the ‘SGOA/Hans Franken Award’ to the author of the best master’s thesis in the field of ICT Law.
The thesis award is awarded every two years and is named after Professor Hans Franken, the former chairman of the board of the SGOA. SGOA is the leading, independent non-profit centre for IT Conflict Management. Franken is Professor emeritus Law and Information at Leiden University and a former member of the Dutch Senate on behalf of political party CDA. The thesis award is intended to promote research by university students into ICT Law and provide an additional stimulus to this field of law. The winner of the Hans Franken Award receives a monetary prize of € 2,500.
