Wanted: Student-Assistant Data Management Archaeology (deadline August 1)
In this position, you play a part in the Research Support Office. You will assist the Research Data Manager in guiding and supporting researchers to perform proper data management for their research projects.
In addition to dealing with data management, the candidate helps with the digitization of physical (paper) data. The function may also involve giving workshops on research data management to other PhD students and staff, informing them on the latest data management regulations and keeping track of the data archiving progress of PhDs and research projects.
Selection criteria
- Interest in data management and open science;
- Currently studying at the Faculty of Archaeology, MA, RMA or self-funded PhD students can apply.
- Good communication and writing skills;
- A supporting and problem-solving attitude;
- Excellent command of English (preferably Dutch, but this is not a condition).

Terms and conditions
We offer a 0.2 FTE position for a one-year term. A renewal will be possible at the end of this year, but is dependent on the student-status of the student. For a master student or PhD the salary is € 15,86 gross per hour
