A faster way to log in with your UCLN? Multi Factor Authentication made easy
Are you using Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) via email when logging in with your UCLN account? This can be made easier and faster by using the NetIQ Advanced Authentication app!
No more verification codes by email
When using MFA via e-mail, you receive an e-mail on your private e-mail address known in Account Services every time you log in. This method takes time and requires you to copy the verification code manually from the email.
We therefore recommend that you set up an authentication app as a second method.
The easiest and fastest option is the NetIQ Advanced Authentication App. Instead of sending you a code that must be copied, this app uses push notifications.
Setting up the NetIQ app
- Go to Account Services and click on the ‘Multi-factor authentication’ tile.
- Set up your preferred authentication app by following the instructions.
- In Account Services, go to the ‘Multi-factor authentication’ tile again, select the method you have just set up and check it is working.
