Study associations

A study association is a good way to combine study-related activities with pleasure. Every faculty has one or more study association.

Many study programmes have their own study association. For more information take a look under the faculty tab, or speak to the administration of your study programme.

LKV

The 'LKV' (Leidse Kunsthistorische Vereniging) is the study association for Arts and Culture at Leiden University. They organise trips and excursions that have to do with Art History, as well as all kinds of other activities and they invite the members to have drinks together once a month. Each month a couple excursions will be planned to which you can sign up.

When you own a museumjaarkaart or ICOM membership card, these excursions will mostly be free, but sometimes we do ask for a small financial contribution. The only other possible expenses are the ones you make getting to the location if you are not provided with the student ov card. Most of the excursions will be given in Dutch, but it will be mentioned if an excursion is suitable for non- Dutch speakers aswell.

Furthermore we hope to make the membership of the LKV even more appealing to masterstudents by organising career related activities. You can join the LKV for 20 € each year. The membership gives you access to all our activities. However, coming along on a trip does cost extra money.

If you are interested in becoming a member of our association, you can send an email to: lkv.post@gmail.com . For more information you can visit our website at: www.delkv.nlor you can email us directly. We would love to see you soon!
