In the university libraries you can find:
- A large collection of scholarly information, both digital and paper-based;
- Special collections: manuscripts, archives, early editions, maps, prints and photos from all over the world;
- A quiet place to study, alone or in a group.

Do you want to study at the library of LUMC? Find out more about the facilities and opening hours of the Walaeus library.
On the Walaeus library website you will find a reference to PubMed, a search engine which is accessible through the Internet. Here you can browse the MEDLINE database with references to medical scientific articles as well as the database of books from the NCBI. Virtually all medically important publications over the past several years are available in here, generally with at least a summary of the article, sometimes with a link to the full article.
