Other types of complaints
If you have a complaint, first check if it falls into one of these categories and read the relevant advice:
- Unacceptable behaviour (including sexual harassment)
- Improper treatment
- Academic integrity
- Malpractice
- Disagreeing with a decision
- Concerning or threatening behaviour
Other type of complaint?
If your complaint does not fall under one of these categories, you can instead refer to the regulations on other complaints.

For questions, complaints or suggestions regarding your study programme or the faculty, you can contact the assessor of the faculty: Nova Verkerk. You can reach her via assessor@hum.leidenuniv.nl or via Microsoft Teams.

From study planning to questions about studying abroad, the study coordinator can help you. Depending on your question, your study coordinator can personally advise you or contact/refer you to the person or department that can help you.
