In this outreach training, Investigations Editor Mike Herd will introduce The Conversation and its publishing model, and then explain how to come up with story ideas based on your research and pitch them in the most desirable way for its editors. The Conversation is an independent source of news analysis and informed comment written by academic experts, working with professional journalists who help share their knowledge with the world. Articles are written by academics and researchers under a Creative Commons license, allowing reuse without modification.

13:00 - 14:30/15:00 one on one sessions, 15 minutes each
